Trích dẫn: | Dr. Phung Minh Le, 28, was living something of a double life when he and three others were found shot to death inside a home in Clinton after a 12-hour standoff on Saturday.
During the workweek, he was a bright and beloved young doctor, doing his residency in internal medicine at a hospital in Louisiana.
On his days off, he drove across state lines to work at a nail salon in Hazlehurst. This fact he kept secret from most of his family, said Vicki Van, who describes herself as his aunt.
He was worried his parents — who owned a nail salon themselves — wouldn't understand why a doctor would want to spend his free time doing manicures and pedicures, she said.
Phung Le did it for love. Phung Le was in the second year of his residency at Leonard J. Chabert Medical Center in Houma, Louisiana, confirmed the Ochsner Health System.
His fiancee, Le Thi My Van, worked alongside her sister at Nail Envy, a business owned by her brother-in-law, Nam Le.
